Why we started theBag.ca

We started theBag.ca because we had one simple mission to reduce our dependence on single use plastic grocery bags. Over the years we have noticed the dramatic affects plastic has had on our environment. When we traveled to different countries or continents there was always one single theme plastic pollution, be it snorkeling in the pristine waters of San Andres Island, or hiking the ruins of Coba the thing that took away from these spectacular experiences was discarded plastic everywhere. We all have experienced it walking down the streets of our neighbourhoods, the plastic coffee lids or strewn bags from the local grocery store.
